Senior Bridges Intensive Outpatient Program – Full Time Behavioral Health Outpatient
Therapist Position
Senior Bridges is northern Nevada’s premier facility for behavioral health treatment of older
adults. We are looking for exceptional licensed clinical social workers who are compassionate
and provide patient-centered care as their focus.
As a therapist in our Senior Bridges Intensive Outpatient Program you will be responsible for
comprehensive assessment of persons 50 years of age and older, whose lives are disrupted or
complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbances, substance abuse issues or inability to
function or maintain in the community. You will conduct group, individual, family, and couple
treatment as deemed appropriate by multidisciplinary team. You will maintain appropriate
documentation including assessments, therapy notes, monthly treatment plans, discharge plans
and quality measures. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain a
patient case load as primary therapist. You will assist in preauthorization and utilization review
for patients with third party payer sources. You will make referrals to community resources as
appropriate. The Licensed Therapist is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary
team, assist in the everyday running of the outpatient program. You will participate in continuous
quality improvement activities and be an engaged member of the larger hospital community.
