Personalized Medicine in Greater China
Invitation
Beijing Genomic Institute - Shenzhen completed the first Chinese genome
sequence last year and would like to share the wealth of genomic information and
technology platform in collaboration with R&D scientists in Mainland China, Hong
Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
At the same time, local governments in the region have
made substantial investment in bio-related research areas to strengthen the regional
competitiveness since the end of last Century.
With the availability of the Chinese
genome data, the region is now well positioned to accelerate the development of
personalized medicine for the Asian population.
Beijing Genomic Institute - Shenzhen, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks
Corporation, Taipei Biotech Association, Macau New Technologies Incubator Centre
are therefore working together to invite R&D scientists & entrepreneurs from
Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau to participate in the “2008
Conference on Personalized Medicine in Greater China”. The conference will be
held in Shenzhen Pattaya Hotel from Aug 31 – Sept 2.
Wrap-up panel discussions
will be held in Hong Kong Science Park in the afternoon of Sept 2.
