After graduating I plan on going to TCC and get the basic stuff out of the way, then transfer to UT where I will major in Mass Communications. Brent Harris – Short Stop, Second Base # 13: Brent’s big break in baseball began when he was released by the Harris Farm Team and was drafted by the Cardinals coach pitch team out of Denton TX. He continued playing for various “well known teams” for twelve seasons until finally playing with the THESA Riders. He also enjoys lifting, hunting and has been a member of the Texas State Piano Ensemble Team traveling throughout the state to perform. Brent’s high school education has been centered on a three year study of Biblical World Views and he plans to continue that study in college. He hopes to continue playing baseball at the college level. Josh Weaver-- Catcher, Pitcher, Third base, and Outfield #04: I have played baseball since I was four years old. Gateway is my church home where I am active in the youth group. I play the guitar and love to worship. I am not sure what I am going to do for college yet, but I know GOD has great plans for me! Joshua 1:9 David Dickens – Pitcher and Third Base #5: David is the third member of the Dickens family to play with the Riders. He has played with the Riders Baseball program for 6 years. I will be attending Dallas Baptist University starting this Fall. I plan to major in Business Administration and play baseball. I would like to thank my parents for supporting me and taking me to all my practices and games throughout the years I know it was pretty crazy most of the time. And to all my coaches who have helped me to get better, be a good sport whether we win or lose, and to glorify God in all I do on and off the field. Eric Liggett – Outfield, Pitcher # 8: Eric has been a THESA member since their first year of junior high competition in both baseball and basketball certifying him as an “original Rider.” He completes his 3rd year of varsity play in baseball after also lettering in varsity basketball for 3 seasons. Psalms 41:11 and Proverbs 24:17. Benjamin Engstrom – First Base, Pitcher, Outfield # 16: For as long as I can remember, baseball has been a huge part of my life. It has been a great experience playing in the THESA program for all of my high school years. When I am not playing baseball, I am mowing yards for my lawn business, fooling around on the piano, or simply hanging out with friends. As of right now, I will be attending UT-Arlington in the fall. I will be studying for a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Philippians 2:3-4 Jordan Greene -- Outfield #1: Jordan has been playing baseball for 13 years.
