RULES AND CONDITIONS ON ENTRY
1. Your signature on the entry form shall be considered acceptance of
these rules.
2. Telephone entries or entries without the appropriate fee will not be
accepted.
3. In the event of cancellation £2 per entry will be retained to cover
administration costs. Please send a SAE if the event is cancelled.
4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the
classes if they think fit, alter advertised time or refuse entry without
stating reasons.
5. All classes will be judged in accordance with Pony Club rules.
6. The judge’s decision is final.
7. Horses/ponies must compete in the order declared at the collecting
ring. Any competitor not responding when called will be placed at the
end of the list.
8. No horse/pony under the age of 4 may compete.
9. Practice jumps must be jumped from the correct side. Misuse of
whips, equipment, or saddlery may result in elimination.
10. Only Pony Club approved hats may be worn, please bring them
with you when collecting numbers.
11. Objections accompanied by a deposit of £10 must be made in writing
to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident. The deposit will be
forfeited if the objection if not sustained.
12. The owners of Sands Farm have requested that dogs be confined to
vehicles. No bicycles or rollerblades. You’re co-operation is greatly
appreciated.
13. The organisers, officers, servants or agents shall not be liable for
injury, loss or damage suffered by competitors, spectators their
property, servants or horses/ponies in connection with or arising out
of the show.
14. No entry fee will be refunded without a veterinary or doctors
certificate.
15. If any horse/pony has been in contact with strangles or any other
infectious disease, it should not attend the show.
16. Horses/ponies must not be tied up outside boxes/trailers and left
unattended.

DENGIE WINTER QUALIFIER (90)
Open to individual Pony Club members, but excluding any
combination of horse/pony and rider that have represented their
branch at OPEN Area Qualifiers for the PC Show Jumping
Championships or the PC Show Jumping Final at Hickstead.
(This does not include any other classes held in conjunction with
Area qualifiers). Please note non-members of the Pony Club are allowed
to compete in any preliminary round but must become fully paid up
members to compete at their Area JA ponies and Grade A and B horses
registered with BSJA in current or previous year of the competition are
not eligible. Should pony or horse upgrade during any part of the
2010/11 series they will not be able to compete further in the Series.
No rider may ride more than 3 horses/ponies in the same competition.
3’ – 3’3’’ Jumping
Open to all ages
ENTRY FEES: £9 per class (Classes 1,2,3,5,6,7 ,9,11)
Class 10 £12. (Classes 4 & 8) £15 per combination
CLASS SIZES WILL BE STRICTLY LIMITED.
Entries will only be accepted on the day if space is available.
Late entries will be £3 extra per class.
