Physical illnesses and mental illnesses that demonstrate significant gradients in prevalence with socioeconomic status, and how prevalence of those illnesses relates both to poverty (for individuals) and to income inequality (compared between nations and between US states). 5. How policy impacts the delivery of mental health care in Maine 6. The sessions will provide an update of clinical issues pertaining to the treatment of mental illness at the interface of psychiatry and medical health. Clinicians, therapists, educators, physician assistants, social workers and nurses will benefit from attending.
