ABSTRACT
200 cattle where used as obtained from 1pata and Oloje and 150 were obtain from
1pata slaughtered slab while the last 50 were from Oloje and they where check for the
prevalence of foot and month disease on the cattle and this is done collecting blood smear
from the total cattle of 200 from Oloje and 1pata slaughtered slab all within Ilorin north local
government area, Kwara state.
The study was carried out during a three month period and the blood smear techniques
of examination were used.
The table shown that there was no significant different in the disease so therefore we
say that P>0.05 which means that the disease are subclinical to the cattle and the prevalence of
the diseases is relatively high in 1peta slaughtered slab which was not seen sub clinically.
