Instructor
Lynn Marshall is an independent trainer and
consultant specializing in wastewater operations. With
over 50 years’ experience in the wastewater
profession, he works from his TWC Enterprises
home office in Cincinnati Ohio. Lynn worked for 2
years with Ford Hall Co., Inc. and 7 years with
Burgess & Niple, Ltd. His duties there included
training, consulting and marketing. Lynn previously
was President of Raven Manufactured Products, Inc.,
a water/wastewater services and process control
equipment manufacturer. He started Raven in 1981
after working in Cincinnati for 20 years with the US
Environmental Protection Agency and predecessor
agencies.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for superintendents,
laboratory personnel, plant operators, inspectors, and
engineers interested in gaining a better understanding
of control of the Activated Sludge process at
municipal and industrial facilities. Those attending will
be introduced to sampling & testing procedures that
will aid in the control of plant processes. Emphasis of
the program is on controlling solids in the Activated
Sludge process to obtain a desired sludge quality.
