Other Co-development and administration of the Western Solomons Research Database (WSRD), an initiative of the Bergen Pacific Studies Research Group in collaboration with the Premier of Western Province, Hon. Alex Lokopio. The assignment has not only been to administer and construct the site, but to maintain contact with a large international network of scholars. The WSRD presently contains more than 30 profiles of international scholars from all fields of science, and hundreds of reports and articles pertaining to the Western Solomons, This effort is taken not only to give people of Solomon Islands access to scientific information to ensure their livelihoods, but also to provide a lasting site of cultural heritage. 3
