Faculty Positions in Cultural Creation, Bio-industry Extension, and Gastronomy National Kaohsiung Hospitality College in Taiwan is seeking two faculty members to join the Graduate Institute of Taiwan Food Culture (TFC). The TFC graduate program fuses a wide range of food-themed disciplines of gastronomy, culture and heritage studies, creative industries, bio-industry extension and public policy, and collaborates closely with other culinary programs (Chinese/Western/Baking & Pastries) at the College which has been the most prestigious landmark of hospitality education in Taiwan since established in 1995. Qualification: assistant, associate or full professors with doctoral degrees in humanities, social science, agriculture and other related fields with food-themed research interests and publications Responsibilities: 1. Teach 2-3 graduate level courses each semester, focusing on food-based cultural creation, agro-resource and community empowerment, and other foodway topics. 2. Advise graduate students, conduct academic/academia-industry research and publish. 3. Assist the college/institute with administrative jobs upon required and participate in the college committees as appropriate.
