information session at Wellington Hospital. To book into this leave us a message on

You only need to attend one session.

Time: The classes are held in the evening from 6-8pm.
Location: 4th Floor Seminar room Wellington Hospital. This is near to Delivery
Suite. From the main entrance take the orange lifts to the 4th floor. For information

Topics covered: This session is run by Midwives providing information on how to
find a Midwife LMC (lead maternity carer), the maternity system and the role of the
LMC, pregnancy health, discomforts, warning signs, screening, research, pregnancy
services and support available.
You are welcome to bring your partner or support person.
We suggest coming early to allow time to find parking and the classroom.
Transport and Parking Information
Underground car park The entry to the car park is clearly sign-posted near the main
entrance to the hospital, on Riddiford Street. Wilson parking fees will apply.
Public Transport Buses run regularly to and from Wellington Hospital (for timetable
information ring Metlink on 0800 801 700). Taxis Wellington Combined Taxis has a
dedicated rank outside the front entrance on Level 2 of the Wellington Regional
Hospital. There is also a courtesy phone in the Atrium to call for a taxi.
Capital & Coast DHB sites are smoke free inside and out, which means NO
SMOKING anywhere on any hospital or health service property.

 Enter through the Riddiford Street main entrance on Level 2 or the underground
car park, then take the Orange Lift to Level 4
