Preparation of Plasmid DNA for TASQ
This information is for Clients who will be sending plasmid DNA to TASQ for final purification.
1) Client must first prepare 30-50ug of DNA. The use of a kit which results in endotoxin-free, clean
plasmid is recommended.
2) Restriction enzyme digest is done to liberate the DNA fragment from the DNA backbone. A final yield
of 10-20ug is recommended. Inactivate the digest.
3) Once the digestion is completed, a small sample of the digest must be run on a gel to ensure that the
digest is complete. Take a gel picture of the digest. This must be sent with the DNA to TASQ.
4) DNA can be sent via Australia Postpak overnight.
