Tour # T1000 – Tuesday 10th – Thursday 12th June
Mystery Creek - $425.00
Mystery Creek Field Days are held every year in June. See the industry's latest inventions and bright
ideas competing for the awards in the Innovations Centre. Check out a variety of compelling sub
events and demonstrations on offer, then treat your taste buds to an assortment of premium New
Zealand food and beverages in the Kiwi’s Best Kitchen Marquee. The Southern Hemisphere’s largest
agribusiness expo attracts over 30,000 people to Mystery Creek Events Centre, where 40 hectares of
exhibition space is being utilised by nearly 900 exhibitors, showcasing the latest in technology and
innovation. Due to the interest in visiting the field days, it as very hard to get accommodation close by
so we have chosen to travel to Taupo and stay at Chantillys.
Day 1 Tuesday 10th
We collect you from your door this morning and travel through to Taupo. Shopping and lunch will be
in Taupo. (own choice) We are staying at Chantillys. Dinner this evening has as been organised.
Day 2 Wednesday 11th
We have requested breakfast early this morning as we need to get under way to Mystery Creek. Once
at the event you are left to visit whatever appeals on site. Own lunch.
The coach will be parked in the one spot for the whole day so once you have finished wander back to
the coach. At 4.30 it will depart the grounds to return to Taupo.
Dinner this evening is at the Taupo RSA at about 7.30.
Day 2 Thursday 12th
After breakfast we take a trip in to the main shopping centre. There will be time for an early lunch
(own choice) before returning you home to Hawkes Bay.
The cost of this tour includes door to door pick ups and drop offs, dinners & breakfasts on both
days, accommodation on a twin share basis, entrance fees in to Mystery Creek. And coach travel.

A trip in the country today travelling south
through the Dannevirke region. Waihi Falls are
in the Akatio area, and are truly a sight to see.
Especially at this time of the year when there
has been plenty of water around. A short walk
brings you to a place of real beauty. We depart
from here and progress to Porangahau where we
will enjoy the ambience of the Duke of
Edinburgh Hotel for a lovely hot lunch before
returning you to your doors

TOTEM
TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original
amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve
on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many
ancient civilizations.
Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a
visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species.
Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that
bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential. This visual
display of human acrobatics is held in the BIG Top in Auckland.

This annual Icon performance is a must to see. This year it is an overnight visit staying at one of our
favourite places - the James Cook Hotel.
After collecting you this morning we travel to Wellington in time to settle in at James Cook and have

After being suitably “WOWed” we return to our accommodation. Breakfast is a full buffet the next
morning. We then depart travelling back to Hawkes Bay. Lunch again will be own choice on the way

progressive day travelling between our private homes
