Kit 2 Multisensory Letter Introductions Multisensory Letter Introductions teach the letters and letter clusters (graphemes) that stand for speech sounds in English words. They are taught, one at a time, through a series of steps called “linkages.” The steps associate the reading (decoding) of the printed symbols with the spelling (encoding) of the sound with the cursive letter shapes used for writing.
