Firstly I would like to sincerely thank the club members for asking me to judge such a special
show. I feel very honored. The weather was certainly not kind to us. I was told the temperature was
107 degrees during the day and I know it took its toll not only on the dogs but the exhibitors as well.
I would also like to thank my host Jackie, who was so much fun, patient and ever so helpful
under trying conditions after her fall. Thank you Jackie. Your dogs were lovely and so beautifully
presented-a real credit to you. There were so many classes where the places could easily have been
altered as there was so very little between them. I was impressed with the side gait of so many of the
dogs, however I feel attention needs to be given to fronts and rears. Rears in particular. I was also
impressed with the way my decisions were accepted and the wonderful spontaneous applause for my
ultimate winner was a joy to hear and so sincere as well. As I have said before the weather was not
kind and therefore my critiques are brief as I did not want to keep the dogs in the ring for any longer
than was absolutely necessary.

short and heavy for me.

the growing stages at the moment which is usual at this stage.

This was a tough class where placings could easily alter.

potential. Really pushed the winner. Good side gait, loved her type.

expression.

I must make comment on the quality of the veterans. They can sure show some of the youngsters
