TEREC, NA Holds Winter 2015 Meeting in Clearwater Beach, Florida
Clearwater Beac h was host to the prestigious TEREC, NA association- a strategic alliance of leading North American
independently owned dental laboratories. Their 3 day meeting included presentations by representatives of Benefit
Management Inc., Amann Girrbach America, and Dr. John Knapp.
TEREC NA continues to reach out to the leading companies and associations in the world for the latest in technology,
manufacturing and industry trends. At their January meeting in Clearwater Beach, Florida, Benefit Management Inc.
provided TEREC Group members with a presentation on self-funding insurance programs.
Jacob Epelbaum of Amann Girrbach America and Alex Wunsche of Zahnlab gave the group a presentation on a
systematic approach to dental restorations utilizing the capabilities of the Ceramill System. They emphasized different
restorations and techniques, including Ti abutment milling, screw-retained implant restorations, and millable chrome
cobalt. The presenters demonstrated how laboratories can use Ceramill materials and equipment to create implant
restoration entirely in-house. They also covered CAD software, scanning, and designing while utilizing digital dynamic
articulation.

Dr. John Knapp gave a presentation on his Mucco Dynamic Partial and also Insurance Coding.
