Details and Specifics of the Event:

The previous Friday we will triage and treatment plan patients appropriately scheduling
them for Wednesday’s event
Veterans will be triaged and scheduled on a first come first serve basis until all
appointments on Wednesday are filled
We will provide as much dental care as we can in our office within an hour visit. Time
will be monitored and limited to an hour in order to see as many patients as possible
within the 10 hour work day
Any patients needing more extensive treatment beyond the capabilities of our in office
services will be treatment planned in conjunction with the Pittsbugh VA Dental Clinic
Our Mission:

To provide exemplary dental care to those Veterans unable to afford such elsewhere
To give back care to our community and exemplify the excellent continuing education
our office receives from The Academy of General Dentistry
To potentially demonstrate awareness of a need for a VA dental clinic closer than
Pittsburgh for our Veterans in Central Pa.
To potentially demonstrate the need for grants/funding of a dental residency program at
one of our local VA facilities in Central Pa.to provide care for our local Veterans while
giving a new dental student valuable real life work experience.
