BICENTENNIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Established in November 30, 1987. Awards to be based upon an essay
which covers some aspect of North Haven History. The Social Studies
Program Coordinator will be in charge of this. Award based strictly
upon academic achievement
KATHERINE BRANDT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Established in 2005. Award should NOT be based on academic
accomplishments but rather someone who continuously does for others

player who best exemplifies the attributes of good sportsmanship,

STUART A. ELLIOTT SCHOLARSHIP
Established in August 11, 1992. Application to be filled out. Criteria
considered, Committed to leadership at NHHS, Earned a varsity letter
in one or more sports, Demonstrated service to the community,
Earned a cumulative B average, Demonstrated warmth and concern for
others.
THE FALANGA FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
Established on February 1, 1993. Selection based on academic
achievement and excellence of character. Student selected
annually by the math and science departments
THE GEORGE AND GLORIA FURNIVAL SCHOLARSHIP
Established 2008 by the NH Historical Society in recognition of the
service of George and Gloria Furnival to the Town of NH and the NH
Historical Society. To be awarded to a student interested in studying
history, art or museum studies. Not needs based. Grade average in
these study areas at a “B” and community service in NH.
Preference give to students who volunteer their time to the
Historical Society.
