Cereal Box Biography Directions: Please follow the below steps to complete this project. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Choose a person from the list on the screen when Ms. Williams calls your name. My person is:_________________________________. (SPELL IT CORRECTLY!) Research the person. Make sure you use appropriate websites to research: place/date of birth, childhood, adulthood, etc. (Some of these people you might only find their adulthood.) Also, research how this person affected World War I. Cover a cereal box or cracker box with construction paper or wrapping paper. Be as creative as possible on the front of the box. a. Name your cereal using your person. (i.e. Pocahontas Puffs) b. Draw a picture to illustrate. c. It should be creative and exciting, so people will want to “buy” your cereal. On one side of the box, where you usually find ingredients and nutritional information, put the biographical information of your person. a. HINT: It should look like an actual cereal box. i. Creatively display biographical information ii. What “Ingredients” make up your person? b. HINT: What effects did this person have on World War I? On the other side of the box, create a BIO POEM on the person. A bio poem reflects a person’s personality and characteristics.
