TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Course bookings A separate booking form is required for each delegate. Bookings are accepted by email via the DLF website, by fax and by post. Telephone bookings will not generate a course
reservation until written confirmation (e-mail, fax, or post) has been received.
Payment
All fees will be invoiced at the time of booking and course places are not confirmed
until payment has been received in full. A reminder will be sent 28 days before the course date (if
applicable) to all delegates whose accounts remain unpaid. If the account remains unpaid 14 days
before the course date, a final reminder will be issued asking the delegate to pay immediately. If
payment is not received by the due date, the reservation may be cancelled and the course place may be
made available to other students.
VAT
All course fees are subject to the VAT rate current at the time of payment.
Cancellations-delegates If delegates are subsequently unable to attend a course, they should inform
us in writing as soon as possible, as cancellation charges will apply dependent on notice given (see
below). Wherever possible, delegates will be offered the opportunity to transfer to another date free of
charge. Delegates who decline this option will be charged as follows:
 More than 28 days prior to the course start date
admin fee (£40) plus VAT
 Between 14-28 days prior to course start date
50% course fee plus VAT
 Less than 14 days prior to the course start date
full course fee plus VAT
Cancellations- DLF Training
On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require DLF Training
to cancel a course. In these circumstances you will be given as much notice of the cancellation as
possible by phone and/or e-mail and either a transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees
paid.
Non-attendance
If you do not attend for a course and do not inform us, the full fee remains payable
Late arrivals/missed sessions
Course timings are clearly displayed on the course information.
Delegates who arrive late, are absent for any session, or who wish to leave the course earlier than the
stated time should appreciate that this will be recorded and that DLF cannot be responsible for any
knowledge and/or skill insufficiency that may arise as a result. In the case of an accredited course, DLF
reserves the right to defer delegates for accreditation if their attendance has not fulfilled the required
criteria.
Delegates who require assistance
While DLF Training welcomes delegates with disability or
impairment, it is not our responsibility to ensure that they are supported during the course. We are
happy to arrange support on receiving the appropriate information, but any fees incurred will be added
to the course fee. Neither is it DLF Training’s responsibility to ensure that delegates are free from any
condition that would affect their capability to undertake their chosen course and that they have the
aptitude to cope with the required level of study.
Distance Selling Regulations 2000 DLF Training abides by the applicable elements of DSR2000
Trainers
DLF Training reserves the right to substitute trainers to deliver courses where
necessary. In these circumstances delegates should be assured that the learning outcomes, CPD
application, accreditation (where applicable), structure and content of the courses will remain
unchanged as a result. DLF Training employs trainers directly and indirectly, all of whom have
relevant skill, knowledge and experience in their chosen fields to recognised standards and who
subscribe to DLF Training’s written policies and procedures.
