Signal power limitations a. Upstream metallic signal power limits i. Total aggregate power limit of +14.5 dBm from Table 6.1 of G.993.2. Amendment 1. ii. VTU-R PSD mask limits from Annex A of G.993.2 Amendment 1. b. Upstream longitudinal output voltage limits Existing limits for VDSL2 in TIA-968-A are sufficient. No changes proposed. 2. Transverse balance limits Transverse balance limitations out to 30 MHz are already defined in Figure 4.11(a) of TIA-968A. The bandwidth for transverse balance testing is derived from the upstream and downstream PSD masks. The transverse balance of VDSL2 terminal equipment shall equal or exceed the values in Figure 4.11(a) of TIA-968-A over the entire range of frequencies specified for each VDSL2 profile in Table 4.12 below. In addition, for VDSL2 over POTS modes, VDSL2 terminal equipment shall meet the transverse balance limitations for analog voiceband equipment in Section 4.6.2 of TIA-968-A.
