from the Market Manager 2 weeks before bringing a new product to Market. If you are a

Payments and Methods
Please check one box below. Accommodating vendors is of upmost importance. Final vendor
placement is at the discretion of TRFM Management. See attached map.
Festival Lawn
□18.00 weekly
□165.00 11 weeks, half season (May 2nd to July 11th and July 18th to September 26th)
□330.00 Season pass (includes all 22 weeks, May 2nd to September 26th)
Festival lawn vendors are responsible for bringing a white tent, tent weights, and table.
Pavilion
□25.00 weekly
□220.00 half season (11 weeks, May 2nd to July 11th and July 18th to September 26th)
□440.00 Season pass (includes all 22 weeks, May 2nd to September 26th)
One 6’ table provided. Any tent vendors included in the pavilion section (see map) will be
responsible for bringing their white tent, table & weights, unless arranged by Manager.
Front and Center
□550.00 Season pass (all 22 weeks). White tent and 8’ table provided. Six vendors max.
Payment Schedule
 Weekly fees are due each Saturday morning at the TRFM tent before 8:45am.
 Season pass and half Season pass, May 2 –July 11, is due at TRFM Mandatory
vendor meeting in April.
 The last half Season payment (July 18th-September 26th) is due July 4th.
* The Harvest Market (October Market) and The Very Merry Local Christmas Market
are special events and not included in the full season prices.

I have read the rules, regulations & policies as described for the Travelers Rest Farmers
Market and hereby agree to abide by them. I also acknowledge that the products I will
sell must be of my own production and produced at the location described in this
application. I acknowledge full responsibility for all my activities at the Market (and for
those assisting me) throughout the term of this seasons’ agreement. I acknowledge the
authority of the Market Manager to immediately settle any disputes regarding product
legitimacy, procedural and vendor conduct violations. I understand that the Travelers
Rest Farmers Market does not carry any insurance policies to cover individual
participants and that I assume responsibility for carrying such insurance. I further permit
the TRFM to use photographs of me for publicity. I agree to hold harmless the Travelers
Rest Farmers Market, it’s employees, officers, and contractors for any and all damages,
losses, suits, liability and causes of action resulting from property damage, and from
personal injury of myself arising from our participation in the Travelers Rest Farmers
Market and covenant not to sue or take action against the TRFM, employees, officers,
agents or contractors.

Required Permits
Vendors are responsible for their necessary permits, inspections (food, agricultural &
nursery plants), and license liabilities. Vendors must include a copy of all certificates and
licenses with Application. *Vendors selling value added items please see South Carolina
Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Compliance Guidelines.*
Baked Goods, Candy, Covered Nuts:
 Provide a valid DHEC kitchen license in your name with Grade A permit for the
kitchen you are preparing your items in or a valid RVC issued by The Department
of Agriculture with application. Call Angie Culler at SCDA office 803.737.9690
or SC DHEC 803.896.0640. An approved label is also required.
 If you are selling canned foods, jams, pickles or jellies: analysis and approval is
required by Clemson Extension office and must be produced in a SCDHEC or
SCDA approved and registered kitchen ONLY. Call Angie Culler at SCDA office
803.737.9690. A copy of SCDA approval is required with application.
 Selling pickled items: provide approvals with application. 803.737.9690.
Meat, Dairy, Cheese, Honey and Corn Products
 Corn Meal and Grits – provide documentation of SCDA inspection and approval.
Must have approved labels. Corn Meal & Grits:803-737-9700
 Dairy – provide SCDHEC issued permit for fluid products (milk) 803.737.9690
 Cheese – provide SCDA license 803.737. 9690.
 Eggs – provide a SCDA wholesale license with application. Eggs must be
washed, labeled, graded according to USDA standards. Call 803.737.9690 with
questions. Egg providers must keep eggs at 45 degrees and label display box as
“not for sale, display only” A date of expiration or packed on date must be
labeled on each carton.
 Honey - provide current copy of SCDA Inspection Report and label must comply
with SCDA regulations including name, address and weight. Honey House
registration required also with application. 803.737.9690.
 Boiled Peanuts (off-sight) SCDA license needs to be provided with application.

 Meats– All Meat must be marked with either SCNID# OR USDA#. (Inspection
from Meat and Poultry Inspection Division.) All meat vendors must be a
registered meat handler (free registration 803.737.9690) and provide copy of
registration with application.
 Meat (rabbit, quail, alligator) – SCDA certification required with application
Produce
 Certified Organic Produce- Provide a Copy of Organic Certification with
Application. To use the term Organic you must be certified as such. Contact

Fish
 Fish (whole and unprocessed) –provide Wholesaler License with application plus
copy of liability insurance, contact DNR 803.734.3886

Application Deadline is March 7th.
Your application must be filled out completely, include copies of
certifications, and a 10.00 processing fee. No cash please.

If you are not chosen for the final vendor line up, your 10.00 application fee will
not be deposited. Application fees will be used to pay for farm visits for Season
2015 vendors.
