We invite you to formally participate in a series of ongoing courses to
help you further understand yourself, the nature of Reality, and to
deepen your response to Avatar Adi Da.

must deal with it in some form every single day—because a new
form of the ego’s game appears every single day. Therefore, you
cannot have read one of My books last month and have it still be
working on your behalf, because you only remember a few key

confront My Wisdom-Teaching. That is why study is so important. .

frequent confrontation with My Wisdom-Teaching, My Arguments, and

that requires you to observe your tendencies, your strategies,
the games that prevent your Happy enjoyment of a life of
understanding. Such study requires conscious participation, not
only of mind. And, as self-observation begins to arise in the
midst of such study, you will begin to see in yourself the
flowering of understanding.”

One of the first Gifts Avatar Adi Da Gives is His written Teaching.
Furthermore, all people initially approach Avatar Adi Da through study
and “consideration” of His Wisdom-Teaching. Taking an official study
course is the first step to becoming a formal devotee of Avatar Adi Da.
Avatar Adi Da’s Wisdom-Teaching is Potent with His Divine Siddhi (or
Spiritual Power). To read His Heart-Word is to be literally contacted
by Him and engaged with Him in what He Calls a Living Conversation –
one that addresses you directly in your present moment of awareness,
personal need and practice. Thus, to study His Wisdom-Teaching is a
form of direct contact with Him that inspires and informs every aspect
of your life.
Avatar Adi Da Says to His formal devotees - “Study is the first
form of the dimension of practice that I Call ‘meditation’. In
the beginning of the Way of Adidam, people are not profound
meditators. Instead, much profound study occupies My beginning
devotee. . . . It should be a hard school of study, and you must
be a good student.”
These courses meet one evening a week, by teleconference, for an hour
and a half. Participation in these courses will require about 15 - 30
minutes of home study every day. The first course is The First Word
which will begin the first week of March 2007. The day and time will
be determined by the participants.
This educational program costs $54/month (which includes the course
worksheets and formal instruction). You can audit one class at no
charge to see if you would like to be a formal participant in this
program.
