Profile EMBARGOED: MON, August 31, 2009 Mr Brett Archer FRACS Mr Brett Archer is a plastic and reconstructive, Melbourne surgeon who consults to the Alfred Hospital and is the director of Southbank Plastic Surgery, Melbourne, a private practice specialising in facial plastic surgery and non-surgical rejuvenation. Mr Archer completed his training in Medicine in 1986 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 1997. After completing his plastic surgical training in Melbourne, Mr Archer spent a year in Brisbane completing a Microsurgical and Head & Neck Cancer Fellowship. He then spent three months in London and New York expanding his experience with facial aesthetic surgery. While overseas, Mr Archer spent time training with Dr Sherell Aston and Dr Dan Baker. Since returning to Melbourne in 1998, Mr Archer has established a private practice in Southbank with a particular interest in facial plastic surgery and also non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
