Ms. Moritz received a Master of Engineering degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M in 1991 in association with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Coastal Engineering Education Program. Ms. Moritz has worked for the Corps of Engineers for 26 years as a hydraulic/coastal engineer. Ms. Moritz’ primary areas of work with the Corps of Engineers include navigation structure design, risk and reliability analysis of coastal structures, and shoreline protection design. She is currently a member of the Coastal / Navigation Structures Asset Management Advisory Board for the Corps of Engineers and is the Technical Lead for the development of the Engineering Technical Letter, “Procedures to Evaluate Sea Level Change Impacts, Responses, and Adaptation”.
