1. Vote of thanks.
Given to schools who hosted competitions, competition organisers and judges convenor Julie Ewenson.
Special thanks to Karen gent who organised both the London round & the Zonal round of the Trampoline
competitions on behalf of London.
2. London’s results from National Finals
Congratulations to gymnasts, teachers and coaches at City of London, Streatham & Clapham High,
Surbiton High, Bute House, Arnold House, Hornsby House and all trampoline schools. Great results from
three weekends of gymnastics and trampolining.
3. Feedback
Information from BSGA agm and trampoline agm.
Gym
 Following discussions re reducing the size of the working are for U11 from 12 m to 10m which
started at the agm, the lsga have decided to pilot an optional reduced working area for U11
gymnasts in the NOVICE section of the Milano Team Trio.
 Laura Thomas will now take charge of all competition music at Nationals. Improved methods of
sending music will be developed and circulated by Laura.
 Each area may be required to fund one judge at Nationals. Previously each region has provided
a judge but funding has been provided by bsga.
Trampoline
Rule changes
New intermediate level is to be introduced. This will result in 3 levels of competition; Novice, intermediate
and elite.
Age groups will come into line with gymnastics.
U11 (yr 6 and below), U14 (yrs 7, 8 & 9) U19 (yr 10 and above)
4. Competition Feedback
All competitions ran well. Some discrepancy in Sports Acro where regional judges did not pick up an
incorrect balance which was then used in Nationals
Numbers of schools are dropping. To encourage greater participation the association aim to increase the
number of competitions by holding two area competitions for School Team Gym. One competition for
West London Schools and one for East London schools followed by a Regional final between the top 3
schools in each category. The U9 & U11 Novice Competition will be developed in a similar way but
without a regional final. These changes will be in implemented in the 2015/2016 season.
These changes will have an impact on the number of judges required. (see judges section)
All existing staff and coaches were keen to encourage new schools to enter and to facilitate this
workshops will be set up in key locations to encourage new schools to see examples of gymnastic
competition work and discuss how to achieve the best results using competition rules as guidelines.

7. Judges
Trampoline and gymnastics
Sourcing judges is becoming ever more difficult. To enable schools to provide judges and teachers
/coaches and senior pupils to become coaches Rebecca Crane will organise a gymnastics judges
course and Karen Gent a trampoline judges course. We would hope that all schools will provide at least
one judge in future competitions.
8. Date and time of June/July 2015 AGM
TBA
9. AOB
Discussion was held regarding the development of London Schools Gym into all London Boroughs.
It was felt that a good start would be to invite local schools into workshops to show examples of routines,
go through rules of competition from novice upwards and offer advice and encouragement.
