Instructions for Counselor Recommendations
Your school counselor will automatically write a letter of recommendation
for you. Therefore, you do not need to ask us. The only criterion is to
submit your completed brag sheets (student and parent) and student resume
to us no later than June 3, 2014. We will not write a letter of
recommendation without your brag sheets and resume. A completed packet
needs to be submitted in a folder with the student’s name printed clearly on
the outside/front of the folder to Mrs. Quick.

Your son/daughter is engaged in the post high school planning process. Because it is a highly personal
venture, we need more of an in-depth profile. Please give your thoughts and feelings about your child. Be
funny, be serious, be honest and be proud! The more we know, the better we can help your son/daughter
select appropriate schools and represent him or her in the process. We highly encourage you to be specific
and provide examples. We want to hear your stories! Your comments will be kept totally confidential.

Senior Brag Sheet For Counselors
The purpose of this form is to provide your school counselor with supporting information that
will assist your counselor in writing a recommendation for college/scholarship applications.
Please attach a copy of your activities resume, complete this sheet and return it to your school
counselor. Counselors require a minimum of three (3) weeks to write a letter.
