IEP Objectives for MEPI Analysis
1. When seated at table and presented with 2” blocks, Evan will stack
5 blocks so that they remain stable for 3 seconds, 4 consecutive
observations.
2. When presented with 3 items (e.g. cups, crayons, legos) of which
each item is ~ 2 x larger than the next item in the series, and
following teacher prompt “line up from biggest to smallest”, Alexa will
arrange items in correct order, within 15 seconds of prompt, 4
consecutive observations.
3. Emily will use /k-g/ sounds (ge, gi, go, ga, ke, ki, ko, etc.) in initial
position of words, one observation during 5 minute play/snack/group
session. 5 consecutive observations.
4.Tiffany will lateral transfer from wheel chair to adapted toilet seat w
R side rail w/o falling. 5 consecutive observations.
5.Alex will maintain eye contact with the speaker for 3 seconds after
one physical prompt (touch on forehead), 6 of 7 consecutive
observations.
6. Sam will use ASL sign AND acceptable form of word to
communicate “more” , “play” ,“potty” , “outside” ,“drink” ,“yes” and
“no”, 3 consecutive observations (of each word/sign) when observed
in a situation where this communication is appropriate.
7. When presented with a 6-piece puzzle, with all pieces removed,
Jana will complete the puzzle within 3 minutes. Three different
puzzles, 2 consecutive observations of each puzzle.
8. During a 15 minute parallel play activity (e.g., water table, sand
table), Tyrone will remain near a peer (w/in 2 feet), 50% of the play
period. 4 of 5 observations.
9. Child will match a sequence pattern with manipulatives on 3/4
opportunities
10. Child will stand on 1 foot independently for 2 seconds in 2 out of 3
opportunities.
11. Child will use a variety of appropriate coping strategies in order to
calm himself when agitated or upset, given initial adult facilitation to
determine appropriate and available strategies.
12. Child will identify and name 26 of the lower and uppercase letters
with 80% accuracy.
13.Given structured activities, T will respond to Wh-questions (What,
Who) as related to the activity, 2 of 3 requests.
14. L will maintain a conversational topic for a minimum of 3 turns,
while guided by adult prompts.
15. During a teacher directed activity, -- will follow directions given by
an adult, when re-directions are necessary moving from 5 prompts to
1 prompt, 3 of 5 trials.
