The Intra-Trade Animal Health Certificate (ITAHC) may be signed if the answer to all the following questions is ‘Yes’. YES 1. Is each animal to be exported individually identified in accordance with the Notes for Guidance? 2. Has I.20 of the ITAHC been number of animals to be exported? 3. Are all the animals to be exported identified on the OVNLIC with respect to the identification number, breed, age and sex of the animals? 4. Has the health certificate been fully completed at Part I with regard to: consignor’s name and address (I.1); consignee’s name and address? (I.5) the Member State of destination (I.10) Place of destination (I.13); the place of loading (including post town and post code) (I.14); transport (including registration no of vehicle/flight no of plane/name of ship if known) (I.16); 5. Do you have Written Declarations from the owners/exporters OD (AC) AVI (91/68 EII) and AVI support certificates AVI SPT (AC) AVI (91/68Ell) for all the animals which enables you to certify II.1 of the ITAHC with regard to birth and rearing in EU or import from a third country? 6. Have all the animals identified on the OVNLIC, been inspected within 24 hours of the intended time of loading, were they free from clinical signs of disease and have you inserted the date of the inspection? II.2.1 of the ITAHC refers. 7. Have you deleted II.7 (all parts) unless the export is to Austria, Denmark, Finland or Sweden (in which Trade Branch should be contacted for advice) Do you have written declarations from the owners OD (AC) AVI (91/68 EII) stating that the animals have been transported from the holding without coming into contact with cloven hoofed animals not of a similarly certified level of health status, in transport vehicles and containers first cleansed and disinfected using a DARD approved disinfectant? II.8.1 of the ITAHC refers. Do you also have a declaration from the transporter TD (AC) AVI (91/68 EII) giving similar guarantees for the transport of the animals from the Assembly Centre to their place of destination? Have you inserted the earliest date on which any of the animals left their holdings of origin at II.8.2? At an examination carried out within 24 hours of loading for export, were the animals identified on the OVNLIC found to be fit to travel in accordance with the provisions of Council Regulation 1/2005.
