Miss Missouri Pageant 2014
For Local Titleholders competing in Miss Missouri Pageant
Contestant Paperwork must be completed as soon as possible but no later than March 15. The one exception is the State
Contract and its attachments. We need those within 30 days of winning your local title. We recommend that you retain a copy
of each document. You must use the form dated 2014.
STATE CONTRACT. On this contract the pageant name is Miss Missouri Pageant. There is a page that must be notarized.
This will be on the website as soon as it is received from Miss America.

The following are required by your contract and should arrive with it:





MMP SCHOLARSHIP RULES AND REGULATIONS. This form must be initialed and dated and attached to your
contract.
BIRTH CERTIFICATE (copy)
INSURANCE CARD (copy both sides)
PHOTO ID. This may be a copy of your Missouri Drivers’ License which will also then be your Proof of
Residency.
PROOF OF RESIDENCY. If you are not a Missouri resident the contract requires proof of your residency in
Missouri. Please refer to the contract for details.
EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION:

Copy of High School Diploma or a

Official High School registration for current classes if graduating in May/June 2014; If graduating in May/June
2014 send copy of diploma as soon as available
OR

Official 1st semester college transcript

Official college registration for current classes (2 nd Semester); or:

Copy of college degree
OR

Official 1st semester graduate school transcript

Official graduate school registration for 2nd semester classes; or

Copy of Graduate School degree
CONTESTANT RESUME. Samples and Instructions are the same as the Local Pageant. Please get from that site. The form
will be given to the Judges and will also be the source of information printed in the program book. On this form when it asks for
your title that is your local title, not Miss Missouri. You may not alter or change the format. Miss America requires this format
and the judges are aware of the requirements. We give to the judges exactly as given to us. Proofreading is very important.
PLATFORM ISSUE STATEMENT. We have included a sample Platform and instructions for Platform Statement. Again this
will be given to the Judges. When it asks for your title that is your local title, not Miss Missouri. This form must be initialed
and dated by you. You may not alter or change the format. Miss America requires this format and the judges are aware of the
requirements. Again, we give to the judges as given to us.
CLOTHING WAIVER.
PHOTOS. We need six 5 x7 glossy black and white copies. This must be a head – shoulders pose. We will not accept full
body shots. No crowns, please. Weeks prior to the pageant the judges are sent a packet which includes the resume, platform
statement and photo of each contestant. This is your first introduction to the judges. It is important that the girl who walks in the
room is recognizable from her photo. Please attach a label to the back of each photo with your name and local title.
PHOTO CD. We need high resolution copies of your photo, one in color and one in black and white. Please label the disk.
Photo CDs from WalMart and Walgreens do not work well, you might consider others.
MEDIA FORM. Follow directions on the form. All media contacts are by email so what is needed is an email address, not a
website or phone number, for each contact.
PROGRAM BOOK INFORMATION. Please follow instructions carefully.
TALENT AND PRODUCTION FORMS. These forms will be sent to you via email from our producer.
