ORDER:
The following notification shall be published in the A.P.Gazette:NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the
Constitution of India and of all other powers here into enabling, the Governor
of Andhra Pradesh, hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra
Pradesh Social Welfare Service Rules, issued in G.O.Ms.No.188, Social
Welfare (A2) Department, dated the 31st December, 1997, as amended from
time to time.
AMENDMENT
In rule 4 of the said Rules for sub rule (a), the following shall be
substituted, namely :“The rule of Special Representation (Rule 22(2)(e) of the Andhra
Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules) shall apply to
appointment by direct recruitment to the category-4 as amended in
G.O.Ms.No. 385, General Administration (Ser.D) Department,
dated
18.11.2000,
read
with
G.O.Ms.No.252,
General
Administration (Ser.D) Department, dated 28.8.2004, provided
that 3% reservation shall be made for physically handicapped
persons i.e., Orthopedically Handicapped persons shall be 1%,
Hearing Handicapped persons shall be 1% and Visually
Handicapped persons shall be 1%”.
