WORK EXPERIENCE:
August 1999 – Present. Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Interim Head of the
Behavioral Sciences Department, School of Human Sciences, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural
College, Tifton, GA 31793. Coordinator of the ABAC Criminal Justice program, consisting of 12
Criminal Justice courses and two degrees: an Associate of Science (transfer) degree and an
Associate of Applied Science (technical) degree. Instruct all 12 different Criminal Justice
courses, prepare course preparations, examinations, projects, and course assessments for
each, advise between 60-100 students each semester. Served as the Chair, Social Science
Division (2004-2009) performed management and leadership duties to one of 7 academic
divisions of 12 full-time faculty members and 13 part-time faculty members. Interim
Department Head (2009) perform management and leadership duties to a department of 2 fulltime faculty members and 6-8 part-time faculty members. Perform all other duties of a fulltime tenured faculty member.
January 1997 – July 1999. Senior Instructor/Writer, US Army Military Police School,
Physical Evidence Branch, Ft McClellan, AL 36205. Performed duties equivalent to: GS 171211/12 (Instructor, Law Enforcement). Daily duties included drafting and updating lesson
plans, creating and presenting associated graphic and digital presentations, conducting
research in the area of forensics, crime scene processing, criminalistics, and evidence
collection. Special emphasis on collecting and processing evidence for admission in
Federal/Military court proceedings. Instructed classes in forensics, criminalistics, crime scene
processing, evidence collection and processing to over 1100 US military, civilian, and foreign
allied students per year. Additionally served as senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO),
responsible for the supervision of training, administration, and logistical support of the
Branch.
December 1992 – January 1997. Special Agent, US Army Criminal Investigation Command,
assigned to Resident Agencies in Korea and Germany. Performed duties equivalent to: GS
1811-12 (Criminal Investigator). Conducted felony criminal investigations including: rapes,
murders, robberies, thefts, child abuse, and white-collar crimes. Served as Detachment
Sergeant, senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO), responsible for the supervision of training,
administration, and logistical support. Accomplishments: Awarded a Meritorious Service Medal
for the recovery of over $300,000.00 in US Government property and cost avoidance of over
$3.5 million. Deployed to Bosnia during Operation Joint Endeavor. As an adjunct instructor
for Central Texas College, taught criminal justice courses through the Baumholder, Germany,
Army Education Center (1995-96).

July 1989 – December 1992. Special Agent, US Army Criminal Investigation Command, Ft
Stewart, GA 31314. Performed duties equivalent to: GS 1811-10/11 (Criminal Investigator).
Conducted felony criminal investigations including: rapes, murders, robberies, thefts, child
abuse, and all other duties of a federal agent. Assigned to the Economic Crimes Team.
Investigated civilian contractors for non-compliance, bid-rigging, conspiracy, false statements;
obtained and served federal grand jury subpoenas, collected evidence, testified before federal
grand juries, prepared reports for presentation to Assistant US Attorneys. Accomplishments:
Awarded a Bronze Star Medal for the recovery of over $2.5 million in US Government property
during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Awarded Southwest Asia Service Medal and
participation credit for two campaigns.
May 1986 – July 1989. Highway Patrolman, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Phoenix,
AZ. Assigned in both rural and urban areas. Performed all duties of a state-level sworn police
officer. Conducted traffic stops, traffic accident investigations, misdemeanor and felony
arrests, searches, interrogations, interviews, obtained and executed state arrest and search
warrants, enforced all state criminal statutes.
January 1984 – May 1986. Special Agent, US Army Criminal Investigation Command, Ft
Huachuca, AZ. Performed duties equivalent to: GS 1811-10/11 (Criminal Investigator).
Conducted felony criminal investigations including: rapes, murders, robberies, thefts, child
abuse, and drug offenses. Conducted crime scene searches, collected and processed evidence,
obtained sworn statements, conducted arrests, and all other duties of a Federal Agent.
June 1975 – January 1984. Military Policeman, US Army. Assigned to Military Police units
at Berlin and Mainz Germany, Ft Knox, KY. Performed duties equivalent to civilian police
officer. Assigned to MP patrol duties, Patrol Supervisor, Allied Checkpoint Supervisor, Traffic
Accident investigator, MP Desk Sergeant and MP Investigator. Accomplishments: assigned to
USACIDC Drug Suppression team, apprehended over 200 military and civilian drug offenders.
