Project Description:
RT.22 SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS, PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
IMPROVEMENTS, GREEN BROOK & NORTH PLAINFIELD
TOWNSHIPS & WATCHUNG BOROUGH, SOMERSET COUNTY:
Perform Preliminary Design (PD), Final Design (FD) and Construction
Engineering (CE) Services. Services under the original agreement shall be
limited to PD only however, FD and CE services may be initiated at a later
date as a Consultant Agreement Addendum, at the sole discretion of the
State.
Selection Information:
A Technical Proposal was uploaded by the Bureau of Professional Services
to the Department's Web Site listing 69 prequalified firms resulting in 11
firms responding with a Technical Proposal. Following review and
discussion of the scoring of the evaluation criteria, along with factors
deemed to be in the best interests of the State, the CSC unanimously
approved the recommendation of Urban Engineers, one of five (5)
statistically equal (within 5%) 1st ranked firms, for selection.
The affirmative action goal assigned for this Federally funded project is
15.6% ESBE/DBE.
