Accept: to agree or consent to, to take or receive Example: I accepted the award money willingly.
Except: but, with the exception of, excluding Example: I got to keep all of it except for about $100 in taxes.

#1 Plural noun rules:
•Most plural nouns are formed by adding an s. (an apple, three apples)
•To form the plural of nouns that end in s, x, z, ch, sh, add the letters es. (a box, two boxes; a bus, six buses)
•To form the plural of nouns that end in y after a consonant, change the y to an i, then add es. (twenty, twenties; bunny, bunnies).
•To form the plural of nouns that end in y after a vowel, add only the letter s. (day, days; donkey, donkeys)
•There are NO apostrophes in plural forms of nouns!
