JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE:
Stock Controller/Expiry
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Monitoring, Expiry Stock and Assuring,
Managing of Quantity on Locations &
Systems
ACCOUNTABLE TO:
Chief Stock Controller
Liaise with Warehouse Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1.0
JOB SUMMARY:
Establishing the expiry monitoring system for all stock items in the Warehouse
assuming the matching of Quantities in the SMAS System and Matman.
2.0
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1
Assist in planning of current needs and projected requirements to identifying
3, 6, 9 months expiry forecast.
2.2
Assists in the determination process of requisitioning objectives, re-order
points, quantities lead time, safety levels and critical points.
2.3
Performs stock control functions and loose issue operations in support of all
site activities and programs.
2.4
Participates actively in the training and education programs for Saudi Arabian
trainees.
2.5
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her
knowledge.
2.6
Providing recommendations to prevent stocks from expiring.
2.7
Responsible for the checking and monitoring of actual near to expire and
expired items against computer generated expiry listing report on a regular
basis.
2.8
Undertakes the necessary actions required for all near to expire and expires
items.
2.9
Closely coordinate and liaise with all warehouse storekeepers in the
implementation of required actions for all near to expire and expired items.

48 hours per week.

Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
College level work in Accounting, Marketing and Purchasing
desirable.
Fluency in Arabic, English writing and speaking.
Computer Entry Experience.
Experience:
Two (2) years working experience in a hospital supply setting.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

As laid down by the Hospital Programme, and subject for amendment.
Remuneration will be commensurate with the category indicated above.
