Chemistry Mr. Lin Dear Parents, I welcome your sons and daughters to my chemistry course. I intend to cover the vast array of core sciences necessary to understand the chemistry of how our world reacts. We will explore the basic structure of the atom and how it affects our daily lives. We will also discuss several fundamental laws that dictate how our world works. I expect all of my students to come to class with paper, pencil/pen, a graphing calculator, and an inquisitive mind. I expect all students to show up on time. Homework is assigned every other day and class time is given for assignments to be begun in class if not completed. Tests or quizzes will be given on a weekly basis. In the case of an absence, make-up work will be accepted two days later. I now also have a webpage for all students to access in cases of extended absences as well as lab printouts that will be updated daily. Printing out and reading a lab is considered homework. I will also be using podcasts through the wikispace as mandatory homework. I am free during lunch on Mondays and Thursdays for assisting in homework and comprehending lectures. My email is also available for assistance and communication.
