Hospital course: We take over from the intensive care unit. Billroth II.-manner stomach
resectio took place because of "ventricularis" tumor blooding on 12.10.2005. The
histological findings certified "adenocarcinoma"; in five lymphatic glands of the lesser
omentum (omentum minus) metastatis was found. After operation the patient got fever
that we attributed to left sided "pleuroneumonia"; even varied antibiotic treatment did not
stop the fever. On the 6th day, gleet containing gall leaves through the abdomen drain
('duodenum-end insuff.'). "Peritonealis" irritation was not observed. We decided to take
conservative therapy. Through the drain we instilled hydrochloric acid. In the wound of
the abdomen wall, in the upper spot, wound-supporation came into existence which we
emptied. The anaemia after the operation was regularized by '3 E found "vvt." excipient'.
After the operation on the 14th day, bloody vomiting, "melaena" started, but disappeared
when conservative therapy was applied. Wee took 800 ml serous gleet from the left breast
side and sent to bacteriological and serological tests. After a temporary feverless status
again high fever established with shivering. "Haemocultura" is taken. The last ultrasonic
test did not show free abdominal liquids or "subfrenicus abscessus". In order to clarify the
state of the "septicus" and for further medical treatment he was relocated to the surgery
unit of the regional hospital.
