Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of The Center for Tropical Ecology and
Conservation (CTEC). Based out of the Department of Environmental Studies at the
Antioch University New England (AUNE), CTEC is committed to supporting and
promoting education and research in tropical ecology, conservation and the sustainable use
of tropical ecosystems.
CTEC is here to serve you by offering services and resources to aid in the development of
long-term solutions to the rapid loss of biodiversity in the tropics. CTEC is focused on
facilitating connections between students, researchers and community members dedicated to
the conservation of the tropics. Our goal is to support the training and advancement of
well-rounded environmental leaders by encouraging an understanding of ecological, political,
social and economic aspects of conservation.
