Recent Research
An approved IRB (Institutional Review Board) through UTA completed exciting
research on Action Learning with Reflection principles leading to Higher Order Thinking skills
within Management Students. It was a mixed methodology, quantitative and qualitative,
looking at the demonstration of Action Learning in Management Business Process Principles,
Business & Society Ethics, and Organizational Behavior classes which led to the demonstration
of principles utilizing higher order thinking skills. It is available for presentation with video
examples.

 Assistant Director raising funds for indigenous tribal children in India by building
Community Education Centers, for people of the lower castes to learn to read & write.
Assisted in building 43 Community Public schools.
 Taught & assisted in structure of a full K1 - K12 public school with 320 village students
 Assisted in fund-raising for 63 water wells for communities without water, India
 Assisted in developing brochures for winter and summer survival kits for poverty
villages
 Deployed distribution of more than 1800 rice bags, umbrellas and school supplies to
needy families this year.
 Distribution of 500 pairs of Goats & Water Buffalo, as part of Income replacement of
bonded child laborers through our Sustainable Farming Projects
 Led audit teams to India to verify teaching procedures, record keeping and general
maintenance of schools.
 1st Medical Clinic in progress with opening in January, 2010, due to Community project
in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
SERVICE LEARNING INITIATIVE - 2005-2007
Served on the Board of Directors and active participant in workshops and programs for
the University of Texas Arlington, Service Learning Initiative.
DALLAS WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT CENTER - 1997-2004
Active Participant with the Dallas Women Development Center, company mentorship
programs and various women initiatives; coaching minority women at risk to reach their
educational goals with several ladies obtaining their Masters and now teaching in public
schools and local community colleges
CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP AND COMMUNITY SERVICE – 1986 - 1998
Managed United Way programs with strong leadership involvement with Texas
Instruments. Developed, managed and conducted fund-raising including community
involvement in the Christmas Tree Giving Programs for needy families in Houston and
Dallas areas.
