Virgin of the Sea

festival called Virgin of the Sea!
Every July 16 Puntarenas puts on
a remarkable celebration of this
colorful occasion by having special
masses, concerts, dances and
fireworks. On this bright day,
people decorate their yachts and
fishing boats. At night, viewers
marvel as the decorated ships are
lit up and sparkle at dark on the
water.
Limon Carnival
Come on down to Limon in
Costa Rica. On October 12, Costa
Ricans dress up in exotic costumes
and dance along the streets.
