§ 68.
People with a severe physical or mental disability can be placed in care in a private home or
offered accommodation in a flat share.
Sect. 2. The Local Council shall set a financial payment for the care arrangement or the necessary
assistance in the flat share, including deciding what amount the person in question should have available for
personal requirements.
Sect. 3. People who wish to move to another Local Authority shall be entitled to accommodation in a
flat share in that Local Authority if very special circumstances call for it. The person in question must satisfy
the conditions pursuant to section 1 for accommodation in a flat share in both the Local Authority which he is
leaving and the Local Authority to which he is moving.
Sect. 4. The Minister of Social Affairs shall lay down detailed rules for assistance pursuant to sections 1
and 2, and the conditions for accommodation in a flat share pursuant to section 3.
§ 59. For people with a disability or infirmity resulting from long-term illness or age the necessary assistance
can be provided to adapt their home to make it more suitable as a residence for the person in question.
Sect. 2. Support can be provided to cover the cost of assistance or special arrangements in
collective dwellings for people with disabilities or old-age pensioners
