Waste Audit Step 1: Waste Source worksheet
1) Use this worksheet to record observations during your waste audit.
2) Weigh the bag of waste and record its weight (in kilograms) in the weight column.
3) For each bag of waste, record its waste source (garbage, recycling, or green bin), the location where it was collected, and detailed observations of what you found in the bag in the appropriate waste
category column (e.g., newspaper – lots, envelopes- some, pop cans – 5).
4) Use the waste results worksheet to record the weights of your sorted waste.
