One of the APA guidelines is that students receive training in multicultural differences. We propose this new course to ensure full compliance with this guideline. Also, an assessment by the graduate faculty has determined that a course that provides students with a foundation in cultural psychology would be helpful for the MA program in School Psychology and the other PhD concentrations. 6.
