Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are viscous gels that are injected under the skin surface to reduce
the depth of wrinkles and add support to them. The common ingredient of many
Dermal Fillers is Hyaluronic Acid. It is found naturally in many tissues in the
body. The Hyaluronic Acid is suspended in a gel matrix. There are different
viscosities of gel allowing varied treatments from simple skin hydration, to
correction of deeper winkles.
Often used for the treatment of:
 Static Lines: lines that are visible when the face is relaxed i.e. nose-lip lines
 Restores volume i.e. lip augmentation
 Skin hydration. Hyaluronic Acid attracts water which increases the skins
hydration levels.
