Payment is due on registration day but acceptable anytime prior to the start of a session. There is no refund in registration fees, class tuition, or ticket sales, however
a credit toward another class may be issued if a class is switched. If a student needs to stop dancing due to injury or scheduling conflict during the session, a credit
will be applied to your account until the student returns or the student can take a different class if one is available.
Tuition is due the first week of every month or there will be a $10 late fee applied to tuition one week late. No exceptions. A $10 late fee will be added to postdated checks.
14 week session students: Tuition must be paid in full when the session begins. If you give a portion payment, you will pay $5 fee for the extra time spent recording
your payments.
Monthly payments: Our payment plan is a courtesy, not an option, therefore, students who are two weeks late on their second payment will have to pay in full at the
start of the next session. Also, if a student decides to withdrawal or is injured, you are still responsible for the monthly payments in that 13 week session. If a
student is injured, a credit difference will be applied toward the next session.
14eek session students: No costumes will be ordered until full payment has been received.
A student who attends class or gets dropped off with an outstanding balance will be asked to sit out of class. Due dates are clearly marked above and posted at the
studio. Courtesy calls or emails are also placed the week tuition is due to remind parents. Please be cognizant of your payment plan so your child does not feel
embarrassed when they can’t take class.
Invoices must be paid by the due date that is given or a $10 late fee will be applied. If prewritten checks are handed in late by your child, without the late fee added
in, you will still be responsible for the late fee.
June Performance: requires all students to be responsible for a $105 performance fee which includes four tickets. Each sibling is an extra $10 for performing costs.
This is due no later than May 10th. Additional tickets may be purchased for $20 each. You can also make payments before the due date. Parent volunteers for any
show will always receive complimentary tickets. Please inform Denise if you’re interested in volunteering for our winter or June performance.
There is a $15 fee per student for the holiday show.
Student privileges: Select students will be invited to perform in opening numbers with a fee of $100 and may be required to purchase costume attire: Approximately
$60. Performers must attend all rehearsals in order to perform.
Missed classes by a student due to illness, vacation, etc. must be made up by the student. There is no deduction for missed classes. Please see studio class schedule
to determine an age appropriate substitute. Any classes that the instructor cancels due to sickness or weather conditions will be made up by that instructor or a
student may take another class.
Class extra rehearsals: if four or more class students attend extra rehearsals for an hour, the fee is $15
All students are expected to be respectful towards other students, family, staff, or owner. A student’s insubordination will be handled according to the teacher or
owner’s discretion and can result in expulsion from the studio with no refund in tuition, tickets, or costumes. Note: The fees of returning the costume and office
time spent on the phone and doing paper work total a fee of $150.
All students must come to class dressed in the appropriate dance attire. It is up to the teacher’s discretion to ask any unprepared student to observe the class only.
Please see below for the dress code.
There is a $30 charge for returned checks and a $10 fee to switch your child to a different class.
Dance team members must deposit $100 and sign contract prior to start of year. Deposit is fully refundable only if he/she fulfills dance team contract obligation.
Rules: The following rules must be adhered to while classes are in session:
1.
4.
No gum allowed in the studio, so don’t come in chewing gum! No drinks allowed in studio rooms and no soda, coffee or messy snacks
allowed at studio. Do not place moist cups on benches.
2. Turn off all cell phones. No shorts, no low cut pants or shirts, and no jeans are allowed. No spaghetti straps.
Wear T-shirts or double tank tops only. No white pants or shirts, no jewelry. Young children: It is important that parents remind
their child before class of our studio rules: Listen to your teacher, do not run, scream, or talk without raising your hand. Do your
best and have a positive attitude. If a student is not following class rules, he/she will be asked to sit out of class and if the behavior
continues, may be removed from the class without a refund in tuition, costumes, or tickets.
3. All students must immediately change into dance shoes upon entering. Sitting and talking with friends without getting prepared is
unacceptable. Our classes must run on time and students who linger will not be allowed to walk into class once it begins. Do not
wear dance shoes to class, doing so may damage shoes and also cause damage to studio floors. Change shoes at studio. Students are
to use the bathroom before or after class. Young students will not be allowed to use the bathroom during class time as this distracts
the class. Young students (2-9 yrs) must be supervised by a parent when using the bathrooms or if they are older, please check
bathroom when they are done. Parents, children, and visitors must keep noise level down while sitting in the waiting area. Please be
cognizant of our classes. Parents are NOT allowed to video tape an instructors class without permission and unless it is a routine that
the child is performing for a show.
Students who arrive late are asked to wait by the entry until the instructor invites them in. Young children are not allowed to walk on
and off the floor during instruction time. If a student continues to adamantly walk off the floor during instruction time, the student must
wait by the entrance to be invited back into the class, or he/she may not be allowed to join back in. Please understand that children who
continue to exhibit these behaviors without parental encouragement to get back on the floor, will be asked to leave the class with no refund
in tuition, costumes, and tickets. When a teacher is talking or giving instruction, students should stop moving and talking and give the
teacher their full attention.
**Center Stage Entertainment is an exciting place to fulfill every dancer, singer, or actor’s needs. While we
encourage an easy going atmosphere, it is important that we all use proper etiquette inside our studio. Center Stage Entertainment will not
tolerate any misconduct inside or outside the studio that is a form of disrespect, gossip, or negative connotation directed toward a staff
member, the studio, or another family. Any such matter will result in dismissal from the studio with no refunds and possible legal action. All
parents and students are expected to be respectful towards other family members, and staff. We ask that all individuals act in a mature,
friendly way and use proper mannerisms towards one another. Students are expected to use healthy manners, problem solve, and always do
their best. Students should come to class ready to learn and have fun. Talking with friends during instructional time hinders the learning
environment of fellow dancers. All students must be prepared and have the proper shoes on when the instructor is ready to start class.
Following these guidelines ensures the best education for all students in the class and also teaches students how to respect others. Parents of
young ones are responsible for reminding them of these guidelines to ensure the best education for their child. We understand that you had a
choice of many dance studios and have chosen Center Stage. We are committed to our students and parents 100% and are confident that every
student under our instruction will walk away with much more than just a dance experience! Thank you and welcome!
Parents Signature indicates you agree with all rules and policy
