Program Objectives:

This conference will feature lectures, case presentations and educational sessions to inform clinicians about the recent developments in the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary diseases and oncology and their conditions and treatment. The program is designed for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and interested allied health professionals involved in urological/oncological care. No pre requisites are required. Upon completion of this program participants should be able to:

 Provide updates on the current state of knowledge and treatments regarding genitourinary diseases and conditions

 Describe the current treatments foe bladder cancer

Review medical oncology and chemotherapy in urology/oncology patients 

 Distinguish different types of radiation in the urology / oncology patient

 Discuss the medical management and treatment of kidney cancer

 Review testicular cancer and PCNL procedures

 Discuss the role of clinical trials and the cancer research center

Review recent updates on pediatric urology care 

 Review on going research studies at CAMC regarding urological medicine and oncology

Physicians – The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute’s CME program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
