The Principle of Waiting: Lam. 3:24-25 “I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion (all I
really need in this life and the next); therefore I will wait for him. The Lord is good
to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly
(patiently) for the salvation of the Lord”
The Example of Waiting (Mk 5:21-43):
1) The Lord is good to those who _____________________ in Him

Lam. 3:25 “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him”
Mk. 5:22 “Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there”
Mk. 5:27 “When she heard about Jesus”
Lam. 3:19-23 “I remember my affliction…and the bitterness…I well remember
them, and my soul is downcast (depressed) within me. Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope: the Lord's great love… his compassions never fail.
They are new (begin afresh) every morning; great is your faithfulness”
 Ps. 130:5 “I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope”

 Mk. 5:22-23 “Seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet and pleaded earnestly with him,
‘My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that
she will be healed and live’”

because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed”
