This educational symposium designed to provide a comprehensive review of advanced techniques for treatments in cosmetic and reconstructive dermatologic surgery. Thought leaders in the fields of anatomy and dermatologic surgery will share their expertise on procedures and treatments for optimal primary and post-reconstructive cosmetic outcomes. This course provides essential knowledge for dermatologic surgeons who treat cancer patients and perform reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. This interactive live CME activity combines lecture, discussion, and a hands-on cadaver lab.
Course Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
identify and locate the critical nerves and arteries of the face as they relate to cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
-describe facial anatomy and facial planes as they relate to the positioning of injectable implants for facial rejuvenation and reconstructive treatments
-describe the aesthetics of facial aging and develop evidence-based treatment strategies to maximize aesthetic outcomes
