Responsibilities include direct supervision of and administrative oversight for Associated Students of Madison
(ASM), Diversity Education Program (DEP), Greater University Tutoring Services (GUTS), International Student
Services (ISS), McBurney Disability Resource Center, and Vets for Vets. Provide divisional leadership on a wide
range of issues. Administrative efforts included collaboration throughout the division to develop and implement new
mission and vision for the Offices of the Dean of Students. Direct supervision of six staff members.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES (2003 – Present)
Responsible for administrative oversight of Academic and Transition Initiatives, Student and Staff Development and
Desk Operations for University Housing. Direct supervision of three (3) full time employees and approximately 150
student staff. Responsible for long range planning and vision development, budget oversight within Programs and
Services. Participate in the selection, placement, and training of staff throughout Residence Life. Actively involved
in budget development.
SOUTHEAST AREA (1996 – 2003)
Responsible for administrative oversight of five (5) residence halls housing 4,100 students. Direct supervision of
four (4) full time professional staff members, indirect supervision of (4) additional full time staff members and
approximately 150 student staff. Responsible for development of Residence Life Program in area. Particular focus
on freshman transition needs. Area also included Chadbourne Residential College. Serve as a liaison to campus
services such as University Police, University Health Services and Office of Dean of Students.
LAKESHORE AREA (1989 – 1996)
Responsible for administrative oversight of ten (10) residence halls. Supervision of five (5) full time professional
staff members. Duties similar to above. Participated in development of Residence Life Program.

with Hall Directors in the supervision of Resident Assistant Staff. Duties included planning R.A. class, selection and
supervision. As Director of Family Housing I was responsible for the administration of 383-unit apartment style
complex. Oversight of program budget.
RESIDENCE HALL DIRECTOR

Responsibilities included the administration of a coeducational residence hall of 224 students. Duties included
program implementation, discipline, academic, career and personal counseling. Supervised staff of eight (8)
Resident Assistants and one Desk Manager. Advised Hall Council. Worked with facilities staff to improve form and
function of building and surrounding area.
