Information about forthcoming competition on transnational cooperation
Marshal’s Office in łódzkie region launched a call for proposal, no POKL/I/8.2.1/IN/11 for innovative projects
with a possible transnational component in the Human Capital Operational Programme. Projects should concern
Priority Axis “Regional human resources for the economy”1 within the theme: improvement of cooperation
between entrepreneurs and education and science. The estimate budget for the project is between 500 000
PLN to 3 000 000 PLN (approx. 125 000 Euros to 750 000 Euros) while the overall budget for this call is
7 000 000 PLN (approx. 1 750 000 Euros.
For a transnational component is up to 30% of the project’s budget.
The main purpose of the project is to improve attractiveness of innovativeness in the area of adaptability.
Applicants within the call should elaborate innovative product – method, system, cooperation network, tools
(e.g. elaboration, testing and implementation of a model for commercialization of scientific research) that
develop close cooperation between science and industry sector.
The scope of transnational cooperation is as follows:





Elaboration of new solutions or adoption of solutions already elaborated in a partner country
Carrying out research and analysis
Organisation of conferences, seminars, workshops and meetings
Preparation, translation and issuing of publications
Fellowships, Study visits, Exchange of employees

- All developed countries support development and implementation of
high and information technologies seeking better competitiveness and
creation of innovative products. Such development is necessary to
Lithuanian and Polish industry reaching knowledge for higher
productivity and less manufacturing cost.
- Deepening knowledge of employees’ creativity in industrial
technologies, improving collaboration among academia and industry,
better handling high and information technologies. Creation
methodology of creativity and productivity increasing in
manufacturing enterprises.
- To carry out benchmarking of metalworking and manufacturing
companies seeking current company situation and spreading best
experience of laser and other high technologies on manufacturing
efficiency in Lithuanian and Polish industry. Development of specific
cross-discipline web site portal and knowledge base for experience
and practice spreading among people of academia and industry.
Arrangement of common seminars for knowledge and experience
spreading in Lithuania and Poland.
- Creation of intelligent model based on parametrical functions (PF)
and artificial neural network (ANN) for manufacturing process and
costs forecasting at the early stage of new product or new business
engineering stage. Development of common data base (DB) of
Lithuanian Kaunas region and Polish Lodze region manufacturing
enterprises for better partnership.
