Description
The documentation for the EDS says that the defaultLogo configuration option has default
value of null. This is not correct, in fact the current shipping configuration file includes
this.defaultLogo = 'flyingpiglogo.jpg';. This causes a default installation to show
broken image icons.
It would be better for the EDS to ship with an 80x60 transparent image as recommended in the
documentation (and the documentation would want to be changed to reflect that).

Here's a copy of the standard 1x1 pixel blank GIF, which can be used in this context and
stretched to any size in the configuration file. This is the version from Wikimedia commons,
and declared there to be in the public domain.

Adding a default image to the EDS distribution may also require adding an Alias directive to the
distributed conf.d/shibboleth-ds.conf file.

Anybody got 80x60 pixels of trasparency? I can't find mine.

The attachment is a 1x1. Use that and stretch it is the usual approach?

Note having a lot of joy with this. Even when displaying the transparent gif unedited (but with a
size of 80x60 which makes the browser stretch it) both FF and Chrome display it as solid white
(provable by setting the background-color on the surrounding div to red.
I suspect, however that this is as good as we will get.

R126 adds a 1x1 px transparent gif for the default logo and refers to it.
